Let us study about rounding large numbers. The large numbers in math are defined as the numbers that are greater than all other given numbers which is found by comparing with one another.
The rounding large numbers can be done in two ways. One is rounding the large number to their nearest 50’s and another one is rounding the large numbers to their nearest 100’s.
Some of the examples are given below.

Rounding large numbers – example 1:
From the following three numbers 23, 273 and 123 find the large number and round it to the nearest 50’s?
Solution:
The given numbers are 23, 273 and 123
The large number among the given numbers is found to be as follows:
23 < 123 < 273 (in ascending order)
273 (large number)
250 (rounded to nearest 50)
Rounding large numbers – example 2:
From the following three numbers 229, 233 and 13 find the large number and round it to the nearest 50’s?
Solution:
The given numbers are 219, 133 and 13
The large number among the given numbers is found to be as follows:
13 < 123 < 219 (in ascending order)
219 (large number)
200 (rounded to nearest 50)

Solution:
The given numbers are 269, 163 and 73
The large number among the given numbers is found to be as follows:
73 < 163 < 269 (in ascending order)
269 (large number)
300 (rounded to nearest 50)
Rounding large numbers – example 4:
From the following three numbers 334, 543 and 283 find the large number and round it to the nearest 100’s?
Solution:
The given numbers are 334, 543 and 283
The large number among the given numbers is found to be as follows:
283 < 334 < 543 (in ascending order)
543 (large number)
