In this article we are learning about the sequence activities concept. In mathematics field sequence activities is used in so many ways, we usually mean that the collected work is ordered in such a way that it has an identified first member, second member, and third member and so on. We say that a set of objects is listed in sequence activities.For Example: The amount of cash deposited in a bank, over several years’ form sequence activities.
Understanding Mathematical Sequence is always challenging for me but thanks to all math help websites to help me out.
Learning sequence activities for types and futures:-
Futures of sequence activities:-
Sequence activities have significant applications in several spheres of human activities. Sequence activities, following specific outline are called progressions.Think the following quotients that we get in the division of 100 by 3 at different steps of division. In this process we get 33, 33.3, 33.33, 33.333 ... and so. These measures also form a sequence. In a sequence activities the various numbers occurring, is called terms. Stand for the terms of a sequence by a 1, a 2, a 3… a n…etc., the nth expression is the number at the nth scene of the sequence and it is denoted by a n. The nth term is usually called the sequence.
In the example of sequence activities:-
a1 = 33, a2 = 33.3, a3 = 33.33… a6 = 33.3333, etc.
Types of sequence activities:-
Learning three types of sequence activities are there,
1. Finite sequence,
2. Infinite sequence,
3. Fibonacci sequence.
Learning to finite sequence:-
A sequence activities finite number of terms are called a finite sequence.
Learning to Infinite sequence:-
A sequence activity is called infinite, if it is not a finite sequence.
Learning Fibonacci sequence:-
In some times, an collection of numbers such as 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8… has no visible pattern, but the sequence is generated by the recurrence relation given by
a1 = a2 = 1
a3 = a1 + a2
an = an – 2 + an – 1, n > 2
These sequence activities are called Fibonacci sequence.
Learning sequence activities for prime and example:-
Sequence activities prime:-
In the sequence of primes 2, 3, 5, 7… we find that there is no formula for the nth prime. The sequence can only be described by verbal explanation. In each sequence, we should not wait for that its terms will inevitably be given by a specific formula. Though we expect a notional scheme or a rule for generating the terms a1, a2, a3,…,an,… in succession. In view of the above, a sequence can be regarded as a function whose domain is the set of natural numbers or some subset of it of the type {1, 2, 3...m}. At the times, we use the functional notation a (n) for an.
I am planning to write more post on What is Scientific Notation? and Derivative of Ln 2. Keep checking my blog.
Sequence activities example:-
The following example:-
Assume that there is a generation gap of 20 years; we are asked to find the number of ancestors, like kids, their parents and grandparents, etc. that a person might have over 200 years.
Solution:-
Here, the total number of generations = 200 / 20 = 10
The number of person’s ancestors for the first, second, third… tenth generations are 2, 4, 8, 16, 32… 1024. These kinds of numbers help to find the Sequence activities.
