Math Fraction Graphics:

Fraction is generally in the form a/b

Where

a- is the numerator.
b- is the denominator.

The operations that can be performed with fractions are

Addition.
Subtraction.
Multiplication.
Division.
Writing Equivalent Fraction.

Now let us see how to do above operations.

General Forms For Operations Related To Fractions:-

Addition:-

Add two fraction a/b + c/ d

The above fraction can be added by using the formula    ((axxd) + (cxxb)) / ((bxxd))
Subtraction:-

Subtraction is similar to that of addition.

To subtract two fractions a/ b - c/ d .

We can use the formula ((axxd) - (cxxb)) / ((bxxd))
Multiplication:-

Multiplication of fraction a/ b and c/ d

a/ b xx c/ d = (a xx c) / (b xx d)

By using the above formula we can get the answer for multiplying the fraction.
Division:-

To divide the fraction a/ b by c/ d .

(a/b) / (c/ d) = (a xx d )/ (bxxc)

By using the above formula we can get the answer for dividing the fraction a/ b by c/ d .
Equivalent Fraction:-

To find the equivalent fraction for a/ b  you have to multiply a and b by the same number.

a/ b = (a xx x )/ (b xx x).

By using the above formula we can get the equivalent fraction for fraction a/b

Solved Math Fraction Graphics Problem 1:-

Math Fraction Graphics Addition Problem:-

Add the fraction 3/5 and 1/ 3.
Solution:-

Given we need to add the fraction 3/5 and 1/ 3.

The above fraction can be added by using the formula    ((axxd) + (cxxb)) / ((bxxd))

Here a = 3, b = 5, c= 1, d= 3.

By plugging it in the formula we get

3/5 + 1/ 3 = ((3 xx 3) + (1 xx 5))/ (5 xx 3)

The product value of 3 and 3 is 9

The product value of 1 and 5 is 5

The product value of 5 and 3 is 15

Now plug- in the values in the formula we get

=( 9 + 5 )/ (15)

= 14/ 15
Math Fraction Graphics Subtraction Problem:-

Find the Difference between fractions 3/5 and 1/ 3.
Solution:-

Given we need to subtract the fraction 3/5 and 1/ 3.

The above fraction can be subtracted by using the formula    ((axxd) - (cxxb)) / ((bxxd))

Here a = 3, b = 5, c= 1, d= 3.

By plugging it in the formula we get

3/5 - 1/ 3 = ((3 xx 3) - (1 xx 5))/ (5 xx 3)

The product value of 3 and 3 is 9

The product value of 1 and 5 is 5

The product value of 5 and 3 is 15

Now plug- in the values in the formula we get

=( 9 - 5 )/ (15)

= 4/ 15

My forthcoming post is on Newtons Method Calculus and Example of Regression Analysis will give you more understanding about Algebra.

Math Fraction Graphics Equivalent Fraction Problem:-

Write the equivalent fraction form of the fraction 1/5.
Solution:-

The given fraction is 1/ 5.

For writing the equivalent fraction we need to multiply the numerator by the same number.

The formula used for writing the equivalent fraction is

a/ b = (a xx x )/ (b xx x).

The value of a = 1, b = 5.

The value of x depends up on our choices.

In this example let the vale of x be 4

Now by applying it in the formula we get

1/ 5= (1 xx 4) / (5 xx 4)

= 4 /20.

One of the equivalent fraction of  1/5  is 4/ 20.

Now by changing the vale of x in the operation you can find different equivalent fraction.
