Quadrilateral Names

This article going to explain quadrilateral names. The quadrilaterals are simply named as quite factually.  The word quad is four and the word lateral is side. The quadrilaterals are having many types of names like square, rhombus and trapezoid. The quadrilateral is any blocked, two-dimensional figure built from our line segments attached in sequence at their endpoints to form four vertices.

Properties:

• Each and every quadrilateral has four sides.
• Each and every quadrilateral has four vertices.
• Each and every quadrilateral has interior angle.

Names of Quadrilaterals:

Type 1: Square.
Type 2: Rhombus.
Type 3: Rectangle.
Type 4: Parallelogram.
Type 5: Trapezium.
Type 6: Kite.

Explanation:

Type 1: Square:
The square is name of the quadrilaterals with four identical sides and same angles.

Properties:

• It has indistinguishable sides and angles.
• The contradictory sides are analogous.
• The each and every interior angle is 90 degree.
• The diagonals of square are one and the same.

Type 2: Rhombus:
The rhombus is names of quadrilateral whose four parts have equivalent length.

Properties:

• It has two diagonals connecting opposite couple of vertices and two pairs of parallel sides.
• It has opposite angles had the same measure.
• It two diagonals of a rhombus are vertical.

Type 3: Rectangle:
 The rectangle is names of quadrilateral with four accurate angles.

Properties:

• It has convex and cyclic.
• Each and every angle should be 90degree.
• It has different length but they are same of diagonals and opposite sides is parallel.

Type 4: Parallelogram.
The parallelogram is names of quadrilateral with two pairs of matching sides.

Properties:

• It has equal length of contradictory sides.
• It has same angles of contradictory sides.

Type 5: Trapezium:
The trapezium is names of quadrilateral in which the opposite side atleast one side is different.
 Properties:

• It has one pair of opposed sides are parallel.

The kite is names of quadrilateral.

Properties:

• It has twosome sides are equal.
• The neighboring sides are equal length.
